Job summary

Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America is seeking a hands-on Chassis Technician to assemble the Ford Mustang GTD chassis and fit body panels. You will build sub-assemblies, bond composite components, and ensure tight tolerances while following build manuals and quality controls.

The role requires comfort with hand and power tools, the ability to read workshop manuals, and minimal supervision. Prior experience with composites or light fabrication is a plus in a manufacturing setting.

Position Overview:Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America is seeking a Chassis Technician to assemble the Ford Mustang GTD chassis. Reporting to a Senior Chassis Technician, candidates will be responsible for the assembly of the chassis and fitting body panels of the vehicle.This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who desires hands-on experience with high performance vehicles, advanced composites, the latest in automotive technology, and has a passionate interest in automobiles.Duties and Responsibilities:Must be organized and work in a safe manner, following all safety procedures in an automotive assembly environmentBuilding sub-assemblies following supplied manualsStructural bonding of major composite componentsMeticulously following build manuals and quality control processesFitting and assembly of carbon fiber components to tight tolerancesIdentifying quality issues as they ariseProblem solving, as necessaryComfortable working in a dynamic team environment and providing positive feedbackAdhering to our set production work hours (Monday – Friday)Adhering to Multimatic’s quality-focused attitude and work cultureTraining is provided as required.Education and Experience:Comfortable and competent using common hand and power toolsAble to read and interpret workshop manualsAble to work with minimal supervision and instructionExperience in composite material construction is an assetExperience in light fabrication is an assetExperience in manufacturing environments in an assetThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.
