Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp. is seeking a Stockperson / Cartpusher to maintain a safe, organized shopping environment. You will collect shopping carts from corrals and the parking lot, return them to storage, and support store operations with friendly service.

You will help customers, keep the store clean, follow safety procedures, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. The role involves physical tasks and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.
• Willing to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 23 kg (50 lb) occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot and the store perimeter and return them to storage following procedures.
• Ensure required records are completed properly.
• Assist customers and the store, and help with cashier and customer service requests.
• Keep facilities clean and maintain equipment; follow chemical handling and safety guidelines.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE, such as steel-toe boots and reflective vest.
• Be flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
