Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Stockperson/Cartpusher to help create a safe, organized shopping experience by collecting carts from corrals, parking lots, and store perimeter and returning them to storage areas using approved procedures.

You will respond to customer and store needs, assist with carry outs and ins, and verify receipts when required, while maintaining clean facilities and adhering to safety guidelines. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter, and return them safely to designated storage areas using Walmart approved procedures.
• Respond promptly to requests from all registers and Customer Service, including assisting customers with carry outs and carry ins and verifying receipts for proof of purchase when required.
• Maintain facilities and equipment by performing occasional cleaning and maintenance duties, including restrooms, following established guidelines.
• Follow safety standards and procedures, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
• Promote a safe and hazard-free work environment by using personal protective equipment and following company policies.
• Be flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
