Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery for assigned projects in Ottawa, Ontario. You will define scope, plan resources, manage budgets, and coordinate with stakeholders to meet requirements and timelines.

The role requires 3–5 years of PM experience, relevant architectural/engineering tech education, and strong communication. BGIS emphasizes client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and seamless cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in architectural/construction/engineering tech is required (community college).
• University degree in Architecture or Engineering is preferred.
• 3–5 years of project management experience.
• PM skills: delivering projects on-time, on-budget, to specs and compliant with requirements including regulatory, environmental, health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees end-to-end delivery of assigned projects within scope, budget and requirements.
• Defines project scope, deliverables and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develops and implements project plans.
• Determines resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines.
• Identifies project risks and develops mitigation and contingency plans.
• Monitors delivery against timelines and ensures timely completion.
• Oversees project team activities and monitors task completion.
• Communicates project status to relevant parties.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, environmental and health and safety requirements.
• Develops and maintains effective client relationships.
• Resolves issues, manages client expectations, and ensures client satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Urgent project tasks: initiate project, assess risks and costs, kickoff meeting, budget benchmarking, independent problem solving, regular communication cadence, identify stakeholders, schedule updates.
