Cardinal Meats is seeking candidates to fill an immediate opening within our marketing team for the role of Channel Manager – Retail. In this role, the Channel Manager will report to Cardinal’s Director of Marketing.
We’re looking for a self-motivated individual with an intermediate background in retail product development and/or brand management.
Specific accountabilities would include:
The ideal candidate would have:
5-8 years of retail marketing & category management experience, preferably in the food industry
Proven ability to identify market opportunities and develop product lines to maximize them
Background in creating promotional support plans for in-market brands
Ability to analyze market data to lead the organization into new retail categories and segments
Experience leading projects to completion in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Traits of a proactive/self-starter, logical thinker, and team player
