Our client, a leader in the consumer packaged goods industry, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer who brings a balanced, entrepreneurial mindset and a strong grasp of financial strategy. This leader will play a critical role in shaping the financial vision of the company, supporting acquisitions, managing growth, and driving long-term value as they scale across borders.

The responsibilities of the CFO are as follows:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership: Oversee the company’s financial planning, forecasting, and performance tracking to support aggressive U.S. expansion efforts.
2. M&A Execution: Lead financial due diligence, modeling, and integration efforts for acquisitions aligned with growth strategy.
3. Risk & Growth Management: Apply sound judgment to evaluate growth opportunities, balancing financial risk with business potential.
4. Cross-Border Expertise: Provide guidance on structuring operations, tax strategies, and regulatory compliance related to U.S. market entry.
5. Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to align financial strategy with overall business goals.
6. Financial Operations: Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, audit, cash flow, and capital management across all business lines.

Qualifications:

• Proven CFO or senior financial leadership experience, ideally within a fast-paced, growing organization.
• M&A experience, particularly with structuring and integrating acquisitions.
• Entrepreneurial and commercial mindset – someone energized by scaling a business.
• Experience in or understanding of food manufacturing, wholesale, or CPG is an asset but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through growth without losing sight of risk management.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills – able to build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
