Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Security Guard for the CF Courtright Complex in Canada. The role focuses on maintaining order, protecting assets, and controlling access for employees and visitors on site.

You will greet visitors, handle administrative tasks, conduct safety orientations, and coordinate with EHSQ to ensure contractor compliance. This position is primarily day shift with backup for main gate duties.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Must possess a valid Ontario G Driver’s License with current abstract.
• Must possess a valid First Aid training certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services at the CF Courtright Complex, maintaining order and protection of assets, information, and employees onsite.
• Maintain a professional relationship with all personnel entering the site.
• Administrative and reception duties; forward calls to the appropriate department or personnel; greet visitors.
• Control site access; issue cards and IDs; ensure profiles are current and properly documented.
• Conduct site Safety Orientation and assist EHSQ with Contractor Management Program.
• Ensure contractor companies onsite comply with insurance and WSIB requirements in ISNetworld.
• Sign out and issue keys and vehicle passes; inspect and document as required.
• Collect daily security statistics and log them as directed.
• Assist in all shipping procedures and operate CF Direct shipping program.
• Conduct vehicle/seal inspections and report hazards to supervision.

CF Industries - Temporary Full-time Security Guard

· Provide security services at the CF Courtright Complex, maintaining order and the protection of assets, information, and employees onsite.

· Maintain a professional relationship with all personnel entering the site.

· Administrative and reception duties; forward incoming calls to the appropriate department or personnel. Greet all visitors and communicate with the appropriate location personnel upon their arrival.

· Responsible for site access control; issues site access cards and photo IDs as per the site Access Management Program. Ensure access profiles are current and up to date information is complete. Complete proper documentation as required. Report any security breaches involving the program.

· Responsible to conduct site Safety Orientation video for approved individuals prior to entry to site or annual renewals. Assist EHSQ with Contractor Management Program.

· Work with EHSQ to ensure contractor companies onsite are in compliance with insurance and WSIB requirement in ISNetworld.

· Responsible for the signing out and issuance of keys onsite i.e. office keys, vehicle keys as per the site Access Management Program. Complete proper documentation as required. Report any security breaches involving the program.

· Responsible for the signing out and issuance of vehicle passes onsite as per the site Access Program. Complete proper documentation as required. Report any security breaches involving the program.

· Responsible for Material Gate / Personal passes onsite. Must review the pass for appropriate signatures, inspect the item(s) and sign the pass to allow item(s) to leave the Courtright location.

· Responsible to collect daily security stat information, correctly document and log as directed.

· Assist in all shipping procedures. Must be fluent in the operation of the CF Direct shipping program.

· Conduct Vehicle/ Seal inspections as required or requested.

· Report all observed hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Security Supervisor/ Security Manager or appropriate shift supervisor including communicating this information to the oncoming security shift.

Qualifications:

· Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.

· Must possess a valid Ontario G Driver’s License with current drivers’ abstract report in clear status.

· Must possess a valid First Aid training certificate.

Working conditions:

· This position is mostly stationed out of the main gate security office

· Indoor/ Outdoor tasks and duties

· Moderate physical activities related to tasks and duties

· Standing for extended periods of time is required

· Computer work throughout the day.

· Primarily day shift also shift work as back up main gate position
