Job summary

National Veterinary Associates Canada is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our Ottawa team at Billings Bridge Animal Hospital. You will provide excellent customer service to pet owners and support veterinarians in daily procedures.

Responsibilities include restraining animals safely, administering medications, collecting samples, maintaining medical records, educating clients on care and preventive health, and monitoring patient health and behavior throughout visits.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a veterinary assistant is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and team members.
  • Ability to handle animals safely and with care.
  • A passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing excellent care.
