Job summary

Wright Tree Service of Canada seeks a Certified Utility Arborist/Utility Tree Trimmer to join our field crew in Charlottetown. This full-time role involves climbing and trimming trees near utility rights of way, using ladders, safety gear, and powered equipment as needed.

You will lead crew activities, ensure safety, and inspect tools and trucks. A CU A/UA certification and a valid driver’s license are required; compensation is CAD 35–40 per hour, with medical benefits and potential employee

Qualifications

• CUA/UA certification or ability to challenge exam.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally and 30 lb frequently.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and direct tree trimmers and equipment operators.
• Trim or remove trees and brush encroaching on rights of way.
• Inspect and maintain tools, trucks, and equipment for safety and readiness.
• Ensure on-the-job safety practices are followed by all crew members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
