Wright Tree Service of Canada is seeking a Utility Arborist (CUA) to join our experienced team. You will prune, remove and manage vegetation around utility infrastructure while operating chainsaws, aerial lifts and other equipment. The role requires safe teamwork, record-keeping, and environmental care; travel to marshaling points may be required.

The position offers full-time hours, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing mentorship in a safety-first environment.

Formación

• Certified Utility Arborist (CUA).
• Valid Class 5 drivers’ license, with air endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• Applicants must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Current First Aid with CPR or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather and environmental conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Trim, prune, and remove trees or branches that pose a risk to utility infrastructure.
• Use industry-standard techniques to safely remove trees without causing damage.
• Operate equipment such as chainsaws, pole saws, aerial lifts, chipper trucks, and cranes.
• Train and supervise crew members in safe practices around high-voltage equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of vegetation management activities.
• Document completed work for utility or regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and protect nearby habitats.
• Perform other duties as required.
