Job summary

The Seaboard Transport Group is seeking licensed mechanics to join our North York, ON teams. You will perform maintenance and repairs, diagnose issues, and participate in safety and maintenance discussions to keep our fleet running smoothly.

We value strong mechanical knowledge, diagnostic skills, and computer proficiency. A Red Seal certification is required, with tankers/trucks experience considered an asset; we offer comprehensive benefits, training, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold Red Seal certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic.
• Experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers or welding is an asset.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with attention to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional interactions with colleagues and customers.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual inspections.
