Job summary

Aqua Systems 2000 is hiring a Mechanical Designer in Alberta. You will design and draw AS2I products, support field installations, and ensure QA/QC. The role requires SolidWorks expertise and experience with sheet metal parts.

You will deliver parts to fabrication shops, work 8:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, and operate in a stable environment with long-term colleagues.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma required.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with structural steel design calculations and custom sheet metal parts.
• Experience managing medium-large SolidWorks assemblies.
• Ability to work independently within a team.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design and drawings of AS2I products.
• Field installation assistance and troubleshooting.
• Quality assurance and quality control on AS2I products.
• Generate 2-D drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and notes.
• Delivery of parts to fabrication shops.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to drive and walk in rural and outdoor elements and conditions
• Valid Class 5 drivers’ license with reliable vehicle to use for work (vehicle allowance paid)
• Project Management experience an asset

We Offer:

$65 000 - $85 000 annually, based on experience

Full Time: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
