Job summary

e4c Early Learning Services in Canada seeks a Certified Teacher to support preschool children from low-income families within an interdisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and family support workers. You will design inclusive, child-centered learning experiences using the Flight Framework and develop IPPs, monitor progress, and engage families through collaborative meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education Degree or temporary teaching authority.
• Alberta Teaching Certification (Interim or Permanent Teaching License).
• 1+ years of experience with preschool children preferred; mentorship for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Lead an interdisciplinary team to deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based programming.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to classroom staff, children, and families.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group learning plans using Alberta’s Flight Framework.
• Participate in program team meetings and collaborations with community partners.
• Apply problem-solving to manage conflicts and incidents safely and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet standards.
• Uphold classroom safety and professionalism per Alberta Teaching Standards.
