Job summary

ViVo Dental in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant for a full-time role. You will support the Dentist, prepare treatment rooms, and manage equipment for patient visits.

The ideal candidate has Level II certification, Alberta registration, 2+ years of experience, and familiarity with Tracker software. Strong communication with patients and families is essential. Opportunity for growth in a team-focused practice.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified/registered dental assistant (Level II).
• Currently registered or in process with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants.
• Experience with dental practice management software (Tracker) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentist during procedures and chairside support.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize/d organize equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling tasks.

The ideal RDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

SCHEDULE:

• 32-40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday (one Saturday / month)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II
• Registered or in process of registering with the:
  • College of Alberta Dental Assistants
• We are also open to those licensed in other Canadian provinces
• 2 years of experience is required
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Tracker is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
