Job summary

Sandstone in Alberta is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. You will provide chairside support during general and restorative procedures, welcome patients, review health histories, and prepare them for treatment.

You will capture digital dental X-rays, sterilize instruments, mix materials, take impressions or bite registrations, deliver post-operative instructions, and help maintain a clean, well-equipped operatory.

Qualifications

• Active RDA licensure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational habits and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II.
• Experience with Tracker is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $25.00 To $35.00 Hourly

Key Responsibilities:

Provide dynamic chairside assistance to dentists during general and restorative procedures. Welcome and seat patients, review health histories, and prepare them for treatment. Capture high-quality digital dental X-rays and intraoral images .Sterilize, disinfect, and set up surgical instruments and procedural trays. Mix dental materials and take preliminary impressions or bite registrations. Deliver clear post-operative home-care instructions to patients. Clean and maintain operatory rooms and ensure equipment is running optimally.

• Active registration/licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
