Job summary

Dr. Seema Steffens Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Mississauga is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (Level 1 or Level 2) to join our caring team. The ideal candidate will have HARP Certification and experience in dental assisting, although new graduates are encouraged to apply. We foster a friendly, patient-centered atmosphere, and emphasize high-quality personalized care.

The position requires some evening and Saturday availability. If you are organized, responsible, and passionate about serving patients, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications

• HARP Certification required.
• Experience in dental assisting is preferred.
• Familiarity with sterilization and instrument reprocessing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during preventative and restorative procedures.

Our dental office is looking for a caring Certified Dental Assistant (Level 1 or Level 2) to work with us. Our office would love to hire an exceptional, experienced dental assistant who takes pride in their work, and can be a valued member of our dental team. Dental Assisting Experience in a Canadian Office is a strong asset, (new grads are strongly encouraged to apply as well).

Position Requirements

• HARP Certification.
• Dental assisting experience is a strong asset.
• Sterilization / Instrument Reprocessing experience is a strong asset.
• Must be able to work some evenings during the week (we are off on all Fridays and Sundays).
• Must be able to work selected Saturdays (2 Saturdays per month).
• Must have good communication skills and comfortable with phone calls and administrative duties.
• Must be familiar with taking impressions and x-rays.
• Must be familiar with assisting/supporting dentists during preventative and restorative procedures.
• Computer knowledge is an asset.
• An independent, dedicated, committed and caring individual.
