City of St. Albert is seeking qualified individuals to join our Aquatics Fitness Instructors team. We offer year-round aquatic fitness classes during daytime, evening and weekend slots to a wide range of clients.

Successful applicants are reliable, responsive to customer needs and excel at building relationships. The role requires WaterART Fitness Certification and Standard First Aid, with preference for prior instruction experience.

HOURS OF WORK

Aquafit classes are held during the following times:

Servus Place

Monday-Friday from 8-9 am & 9-10 am

Fountain Park

Summer: Monday-Friday from 8-9 am & 12-1 pm

Fall: Monday-Friday from 7-8 am, 8-9 am, 11-12 pm, 12-1 pm & 8-9 pm, Saturdays from 8-9 am

The successful applicant will be required to obtain a clear vulnerable sector police information check.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must have WaterART Fitness Certification as well as hold current Standard First Aid Certification.
• Preference will be given to those with prior instruction experience.
• We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who have good leadership and teaching abilities.
