Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Certification Advisor based in Canada.

As a Certification Advisor, you’ll help prospective students choose learning and certification paths aligned with their professional and personal goals.
You’ll use your coaching experience and firsthand certification knowledge to provide practical, personalized guidance.
The role centers on meaningful conversations through email, live chat, and scheduled phone calls rather than high-pressure sales.
You’ll build trust, answer detailed questions, and support prospective students from their first inquiry through enrollment.
You’ll also collaborate with Customer Experience, Product, and Marketing teams to share insights and improve the student journey.
This is an opportunity to combine coaching expertise, communication skills, and customer guidance in a remote-first environment.
The position offers meaningful flexibility, with a part-time start transitioning to full-time hours during the contract period.

Accountabilities:
  • Guide prospective students through certification programs, courses, and coaching offerings via email, live chat, and scheduled phone calls.
  • Listen carefully to prospective students’ goals and circumstances, building genuine relationships and recommending appropriate learning pathways.
  • Explain programs, curricula, coaching methodologies, career opportunities, and the practical realities of developing a coaching practice.
  • Support enrollment, registration, and payment-related questions, collaborating with Customer Experience teams when additional assistance is required.
  • Develop thoughtful follow-up strategies that help prospective students progress confidently through their decision-making process.
  • Share recurring questions, customer insights, and feedback with Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to improve the overall prospective-student experience.
  • Create and maintain internal documentation, communication templates, predefined responses, and knowledge resources.
  • Stay informed about available programs, promotions, industry developments, and coaching trends to provide accurate and relevant guidance.
  • Manage multiple conversations and priorities while maintaining a consistently high standard of communication, accuracy, and service.
Requirements:
  • Completion of all three relevant certifications: PN Level 1 Nutrition Certification, Sleep, Stress Management & Recovery Certification, and PN Level 2 Master Health Coaching Certification.
  • Previous experience coaching clients, with the ability to confidently explain how evidence-informed coaching methodologies can be applied in real-world situations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex information clear and practical.
  • A consultative, service-oriented approach focused on helping people make informed decisions rather than using high-pressure sales techniques.
  • Strong empathy, curiosity, active listening, and the ability to establish trust quickly.
  • Excellent organization and self-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple conversations and priorities independently.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to understand broader customer and business objectives.
  • Comfort learning and using new technologies, including AI-enabled tools that improve efficiency and quality.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and collaborative documentation platforms such as Notion.
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms such as Zendesk and communication tools such as Slack.
  • Ability to work primarily during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours, with occasional evening or weekend availability during launches or promotional periods.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada or the United States.
Benefits:
  • Remote-first working environment with a flexible schedule.
  • Term contract expected to last approximately 12–15 months.
  • Part-time schedule beginning in September, transitioning to full-time hours from December 1.
  • Compensation of $35–$45 CAD per hour, depending on experience and skills.
  • Opportunity to combine professional coaching expertise with meaningful student and customer guidance.
  • Collaborative environment focused on learning, curiosity, respect, and thoughtful communication.
  • Opportunity to contribute insights that influence product, marketing, and customer experience improvements.
  • Remote work flexibility aligned with EST business hours.
