Job summary

Food First NL in St. John's, NL, seeks a visionary CEO to lead strategic direction, financial sustainability, and stakeholder engagement. The role partners with the Board and senior staff to advance the organization's mission in Newfoundland and Labrador.

You will shape strategy, oversee budgeting and fundraising, advocate publicly, and build collaborations with government, funders, and communities. A hybrid work arrangement and provincial travel are expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall strategic direction and organizational growth for Food First NL.
• Ensure financial sustainability, budgeting, and responsible financial management.
• Build capacity among staff and strengthen governance and reporting.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the Board, funders, partners, and communities.
• Represent Food First NL publicly and advocate for policy change across levels of government.
• Foster equity, inclusion, and collaboration across Newfoundland and Labrador.
