Job summary

London Drugs Limited is seeking a part-time Central Fill Pharmacy Assistant for our Central Fill Pharmacy at our Head Office in Richmond, BC. You will assist Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Manager with daily operations, handle technical preparations, operate automated machines, ship products, and manage stock.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge relevant to pharmacy operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a professional image reflecting positively on the company.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication within a team.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with pharmacy software.
  • Identify, isolate and solve problems as they arise.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware/technology is an asset.
  • Previous experience in pharmacy or health care is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations.
  • Perform technical preparations of prescription products and operate automated pharmacy machines.
  • Ship prepared prescription products and handle stock receipt/organization.
  • Communicate via telephone with patients and London Drugs stores.
  • Meet production deadlines for prescription orders and delivery cut-offs.
  • Operate the prescription computer and maintain general housekeeping.

Central Fill Pharmacy Assistant - (Part-Time)

Duties will include assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations, including technical preparations of prescription products, operation of automated pharmacy machines, shipping prepared prescription products, receiving and organizing pharmacy stock.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Communication via telephone with patients and multiple London Drugs’ stores
  • Meet production deadlines for prescription orders and delivery cut-offs.
  • Operation of the prescription computer
  • General housekeeping duties.
