Job summary

London Drugs in Kamloops is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists and the Pharmacy Manager with daily operations, customer service at the front counter, and prescription processing.

You will handle telephone inquiries, assist with inventory, operate the pharmacy computer, and help ensure accurate, timely service while maintaining a professional and friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff, & management.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm.
• Ability to relate to all levels of customers and their needs.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous Pharmacy experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.
• Provide customer service, front counter service, and cashier duties.
• Handle telephone inquiries and general housekeeping duties.
• Operate the pharmacy computer and assist in processing prescriptions.
• Assist in preparation of prescriptions and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Involve in ordering and receiving drug orders.

Pharmacy Assistant - Part Time

Additionally, you will operate the pharmacy computer and assist in the processing of prescriptions and preparation of prescriptions. Other responsibilities will include involvement of ordering and receiving drug orders and management of the pharmacy inventory.
