Mathnasium of South Surrey is seeking a Centre Director to take operational ownership of our learning centre, lead a team, build relationships with families and the local community, and drive enrollment and revenue.
You will hire, train, schedule, coach staff; monitor KPIs; ensure high-quality instruction using the Mathnasium Method; manage daily operations.
This is a leadership and business role in an education setting, requiring strong people skills, sales, and a passion for student success.
Lead a team. Grow a business. Build relationships. Make a difference for students.
Mathnasium of South Surrey is looking for an experienced, energetic, and people-focused Centre Director to take operational ownership of our learning centre and help us deliver exceptional results for our students, families, and team.
This is a business and people leadership role within an education environment. You'll lead a team, build relationships with families and the local community, drive enrollment and revenue, develop staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure students receive an exceptional learning experience.
We are not looking for someone who is simply good at math. We're looking for someone who has demonstrated that they can lead people, build customer relationships, drive results, and take ownership of a business or operation.
While you'll work directly with students, the Centre Director is responsible for leading the team, building relationships with families, growing the business, and ensuring student success.
This role combines people leadership, sales, business development, customer relationships, operations, and education. If you're looking primarily for a tutoring position, this is not the right role for you.
If you're a proven leader who enjoys building relationships, driving business growth, developing people, and making a difference for students, we'd love to hear from you.

If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.

Our teaching method, the Mathnasium Method™, is the life’s work of Larry Martinek, Mathnasium’s Chief Instructional Officer and a teacher and math teaching consultant in the Los Angeles area for more than 35 years. The Mathnasium Method™ uses a time-tested, customized program which stems from a unique assessment to identify what students need to improve their math skills.
