Job summary

Trican Well Service Ltd. in Grande Prairie is seeking a Cement Twin Supervisor to coordinate cement and acid operations in the field, supervise personnel and equipment, and uphold safety standards.

This role reports to the Cement Coordinator and requires discipline in execution across shifts and locations. Candidates should have cement operations experience, a Class 1 license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of cement operations experience
• Valid Class 1 driver’s license required
• Pressure pumping experience preferred
• High school diploma is an asset
• Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
• Physically demanding with heavy lifting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Trican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is the priority in all activities
• Adhere to Workplace Safety, Environmental, National Safety Code, Trican Well Service Ltd, government, and client policies and regulations
• Investigate workplace incidents and initiate the disciplinary process for infractions by operations staff
• Supervise and operate various large duty trucks over diverse outdoor terrain and conditions
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections with accurate completion of driver logs per procedures
• Conduct pre-job acidizing and cementing calculations, blending, mixing, volumetric calculations and hydrostatics
• Supervise rig-up of treating iron, manifolds and recording equipment
• Perform supervision and rig-out of equipment for travel and site movement
• Perform and supervise maintenance operations to units and auxiliary equipment
• Assist with evaluation and training of operations personnel
• Perform three of each standard Primary Cementing treatments or three of each standard Acid treatments
