Job summary

Border Paving Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 Cement Pneumatic Bulker Driver in Alberta to support bulk cement powder delivery and site operations. The role involves operating cement bulker trucks, loading and unloading, and when not hauling cement, handling truck & pup for gravel and asphalt.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License with current driver's abstract.
• Experience operating cement bulker configurations is an asset.
• Knowledge of safe hauling practices and regulations.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and out of town during construction season.

Responsibilities

• Operate cement bulker truck safely - load, transport and unload product on jobsites.
• When not hauling cement, operate a truck & pup hauling gravel / asphalt.
• Complete daily trip inspections, logbooks and required paperwork using company systems.
• Ensure loads are secure and within legal weight limits.
• Follow all company safety policies, transportation regulations and site requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors and crew members.
• Report equipment issues, incidents and near misses promptly.
• Perform basic equipment care and minor maintenance as needed.

Job description

We are currently hiring a class 1 Cement Pneumatic Bulker Driver. Experience with operating cement bulker, loading bulk cement powder, and safely delivering and unloading material at various jobsites. Driver must be confident around active construction sites and working in tight or challenging areas. The position is primarily a bulk cement (powder) driving role. During periods when powder hauling is not required, truck and pup hauling aggregate and asphalt will be needed.

Job Responsibilities
