Job summary

Border Paving Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 Cement Pneumatic Bulker Driver in Alberta to support bulk cement powder delivery and site operations. The role involves operating cement bulker trucks, loading and unloading, and when not hauling cement, handling truck & pup for gravel and asphalt.

Qualifications

Valid Class 1 Driver's License with current driver's abstract.
Experience operating cement bulker configurations is an asset.
Knowledge of safe hauling practices and regulations.
Strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and out of town during construction season.

Responsibilities

Operate cement bulker truck safely - load, transport and unload product on jobsites.
When not hauling cement, operate a truck & pup hauling gravel / asphalt.
Complete daily trip inspections, logbooks and required paperwork using company systems.
Ensure loads are secure and within legal weight limits.
Follow all company safety policies, transportation regulations and site requirements.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors and crew members.
Report equipment issues, incidents and near misses promptly.
Perform basic equipment care and minor maintenance as needed.
