Job summary

The Cell Therapy Laboratory at CancerCare Manitoba conducts pivotal work in the Manitoba Blood and Marrow Transplant program. The Medical Laboratory Technologist handles processing, cryopreservation, testing, culture, and infusion of cellular products with rigorous sterility and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program with CSMLS certification.
• Licensed with CMLTM and CSMLS in good standing.
• Minimum three years of continuous full-time lab experience in cell therapy processing.

Responsibilities

• Process cellular therapy products and perform cell manipulation/evaluation procedures.
• Cryopreservation, thaw/wash, enrichment/depletion, storage and transport of products.
• Maintain GMP/GLP compliance and participate in quality management activities.
