Job summary

Major Drilling is hiring a Warehouse Clerk for its Red Lake, ON warehouse. The role involves supporting inventory control, requisition processing, and timely delivery to field sites, including underground operations in a camp setting.

We offer an excellent starting wage, paid training, RRSP plan, and PPE, along with accommodations and transportation to and from select airports. 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation with 12-hour shifts is provided, with a strong safety culture across Canada.

We are hiring a WAREHOUSE CLERK for our warehouse in Red Lake!

Location: Red Lake, ON
Schedule: 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off Rotation, 12 hour shifts

Job Duties:

• Process and expedite requisitions for material and equipment as required.
• Reconcile purchase orders and packing slips.
• Monitor appropriate inventory levels based on anticipated activity.
• Perform regular cycle counts on inventories as required and document and investigate count discrepancies.
• Ensure the timely delivery of all required inventory to the field, and to underground job site.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Coordinator and supervisor to fulfill and monitor quality control.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a warehouse setting.
• Must be comfortable working in an underground environment.
• Knowledge of drilling/mining industry would be considered an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to operate with little supervision.
• Safety conscious and able to safely lift and carry heavy objects.
• Strong knowledge of computer programs and systems.
• Valid Driver’s License considered an asset.
• Ability to work long hours & shift work for extended periods (12 hrs/day, 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off rotation, camp setting)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
