Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking industrial abrasive sandblasters to join their safety-focused team at CNRL Albian in Fort McMurray, AB. The position involves operating blasting equipment and supporting surface preparation projects in oilsands conditions on a 14/14 rotation.

Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, with at least 2 years of blasting experience, able to lift 50 lbs, and comfortable working outdoors. Valid First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO certifications are preferred or trainable.

• Minimum 2 years of abrasive blasting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate blasting equipment and support surface preparation projects.
• Work on oilsands sites in Fort McMurray on a 14/14 rotation.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and work from heights or with JLG/crane.
• Participate in training and certifications as needed.

Clean Harbors is seeking Industrial Abrasive Sandblasters to join their safety-focused team at CNRL Albian in Fort McMurray, AB. These positions offer the opportunity to work in the oilsands, operating blasting equipment and supporting surface preparation projects. Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, experienced with abrasive blasting, and able to work in challenging outdoor conditions on a 14/14 rotation.

What You’ll Need

• Class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract (Class 3 an asset)


• Minimum 2 years experience in abrasive blasting


• Familiarity with mobile blast equipment and power tools


• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly


• Able to work at heights and from JLG/crane with man basket


• Valid First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO certificates (training can be arranged)


• Ability to work day & night shifts on a 14/14 rotation


• Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions


• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
