Job summary

School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking applications for Casual Custodians to support schools and facilities in the Vanderhoof area, including Mapes. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.

The successful applicant will perform custodial and maintenance work, ensure safety and sanitation, and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of school buildings and facilities in accordance with district procedures.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 completion required.
• Building Service Worker Certificate (min 40 hours) required.
• Minimum 6 months custodial experience.
• WHMIS 2015 certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures.

• Ensuring safety, health, sanitation, and security standards are met
• Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of school buildings and facilities

Qualifications:

• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
• Building Service Worker Certificate or equivalent (minimum 40 hours of instruction)
• Minimum of 6 months of related custodial experience
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures
