Job summary

School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking applications for Casual Custodians to support schools and facilities in the Vanderhoof area, including Mapes. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.

The successful applicant will perform custodial and maintenance work, ensure safety and sanitation, and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of school buildings and facilities in accordance with district procedures.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 completion required.
• Building Service Worker Certificate (min 40 hours) required.
• Minimum 6 months custodial experience.
• WHMIS 2015 certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide custodial and maintenance services in accordance with district procedures.
• Ensure safety, health, sanitation, and security standards are met.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of school buildings and facilities.
