Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a CCTV Operator to join our team in Port Perry, Ontario. The role will operate a CCTV truck to inspect underground infrastructure and document defects observed during inspections.

The position requires practical experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work well in a team. Travel by company vehicle up to 25% on Weekdays may be required. LIUNA 183 affiliation applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a CCTV operator.
• Mechanical inclination.
• Confined Space Experience.
• Display flexibility and confidentiality.
• Weekday travel in company vehicle up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• CCTV inspection of underground infrastructure.
• Hydraulic reaming of deposits and blockages working with Flusher truck.
• Maintain truck and CCTV equipment in order to provide efficient operation.

This role is associated with LIUNA 183

Duties

• CCTV inspection of underground infrastructure.
• Hydraulic Reaming of deposits and blockages working with Flusher truck.
• Maintain truck and CCTV equipment in order to provide efficient operation.
• Create and sustain working relationship with coworkers, contractors and municipal inspectors.
• Comply with and follow company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience as a CCTV operator.
• Mechanical inclination
• NASSCO PACP Certification.
• Confined Space Experience.
• Display flexibility and confidentiality.
• Highly driven, focused and self-motivated.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Weekday travel in company vehicle up to 25%
