Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a CBSA Tactical Security Supervisor to lead a team of guards protecting federal facilities. You will assign posts, supervise personnel, and ensure adherence to critical procedures while working with federal law enforcement partners.

The role emphasizes leadership, vigilance, and the ability to manage high-stress environments. Eligible candidates must have security supervisory experience, valid First Aid/CPR, and successful clearance checks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Supervisor, managing teams of 10+ guards.
• 1–3 years of personnel management experience in a unionized environment.
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification from a WSIB-recognized provider.
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident with at least 5 years of residency.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass Public Works Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in vulnerable sector security.
• Minimum 2 years of tactical security experience.
• Leadership skills and ability to manage high-stress environments effectively.
• Experience in care and control of individuals in law enforcement, court services, hospital, or private security services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of tactical security guards at federal facilities.
• Assign guards to posts and supervise on-duty personnel.
• Receive shift briefings and debrief guards to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Provide ongoing training and support to contractor resources.
• Coordinate breaks, meals and placements per CBSA guidance.
