Job summary

The Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education invites applications for an experienced educational leader to continue the Division’s commitment to Catholic education and student success. The Superintendent will work closely with the Board of Trustees to articulate a cohesive vision and foster safe, caring learning environments.

The position will commence August 1, 2027, or another date mutually agreed upon by the Board and the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or Administration.
• Must qualify for teaching certification in Alberta.
• Must qualify for or hold the Superintendent Leadership Quality Standard in Alberta.
• Broad-based leadership experience including teaching and school-based administration.
• Minimum of five years of senior administration experience preferred.
• Commitment to Catholic education and faith.
