Job summary

BayCare Health System's Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab team is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to support diagnostic and invasive procedures, functioning independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include scrubbing in for cardiac caths and pacemaker implants, using the Hemodynamic System to monitor patients and document procedures, and being on call for emergent cases. On-site work at St Josephs Main and Children's.

Qualifications

• Active BLS & ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Minimum qualifications as listed in job description, including Cath Lab/IR/EP experience or credentials.
• All listed education/certification paths are acceptable as alternative routes to qualification.

Responsibilities

Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

The Pediatric Cardiovascular Interventional Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

• Scrubbing in for Procedures (Cardiac Caths and Pacemaker Implants)
• Using Hemodynamic System to Monitor Patient and Document Procedure
• On Call for Emergent Procedures

Minimum Qualifications (May Qualify 1 Of 5 Ways)

• Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR
• Associates in Respiratory+ RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR
• Graduate of Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Program/Degree and No Experience OR
• 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR
• RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education
