Job summary

Aramark Canada is seeking an experienced Guidewire QA Analyst to lead end-to-end testing across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter, combining strong functional and automation testing expertise. You will design and execute test plans, participate in agile ceremonies, coordinate defects, and validate backend data with SQL, Selenium, and Tosca in a CI/CD environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing across Guidewire platforms (PC, BC, CC).
• Experience in functional, regression, integration and UAT testing.
• Proficient with Selenium and/or Tosca for test automation.
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL skills for backend validation and reconciliation.
• Experience with JIRA or similar defect/test management tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments.
• Excellent test documentation and defect management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across Guidewire applications.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test execution reports.
• Participate in requirements reviews, sprint planning, and release readiness activities.
• Defect logging, tracking, reporting, and resolution coordination using JIRA or similar tools.
• Communicate testing issues and risks to development, business, and client stakeholders.
• Develop and execute test automation using Selenium and Tosca.
• Perform SQL/PL-SQL-based backend validation, database testing, and data reconciliation.
• Work within Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct demos and support client-facing testing activities.
• Escalate testing risks, issues, and blockers as required.

Job description

• Experience with Selenium and/or Tosca and functional test automation frameworks.
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL skills for backend data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience with JIRA or similar defect/test management tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments.
• Strong test documentation and defect management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain experience.
• Strong understanding of Guidewire business processes.
• Experience working directly with clients, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and development teams.
