Job summary

Aramark Canada is seeking a Catering Manager to oversee catering planning, coordination, and execution across a university campus and wedding venue. You will lead a catering team, partner with campus clients, and ensure events reflect university standards with exceptional service.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate events, coach staff, and ensure compliance with food safety and safety regulations, while seeking opportunities to grow the catering business and enhance the client

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in catering, hospitality, events, or food service operations.
• At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a catering, hospitality, or events environment.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating catered events and managing client relationships.
• Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management, Business, Event Management, or a related field is considered an asset; equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute catering services for campus and venue events of varying size and complexity.
• Build positive working relationships with faculty, staff, student groups, and other campus partners.
• Support clients through the event planning process, providing solutions and recommendations to meet their needs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and communicate event requirements effectively to operational teams.
• Ensure all catering events are delivered on time and according to client expectations.
• Supervise catering staff and provide coaching, training, and support to maintain service standards.
• Assist with recruitment, scheduling, onboarding, and performance management of catering employees.
• Monitor food, labor, and supply costs while supporting departmental financial goals.
