Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (Class 5 or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
• Current food handling certification and knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Proven experience in food service or catering operations.
• Demonstrated experience operating commercial or passenger vehicles.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
• Preferred: Previous catering experience with event management.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Charlottetown routes and local geography.
• Preferred: Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, plate, and serve catered meals and beverages according to client specifications and dietary requirements.
• Operate catering equipment safely and maintain cleanliness of all food preparation areas.
• Manage food inventory, track supplies, and place orders to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, following all traffic regulations and company policies.
• Plan and execute delivery routes throughout Charlottetown to ensure timely arrival at events and locations.
• Maintain comprehensive vehicle maintenance records and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Set up and break down catering stations, including tables, serving equipment, and decorative elements.
• Coordinate with clients and event organizers to confirm delivery times, menu details, and special requests.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the catering vehicle.
• Manage multiple deliveries and events simultaneously while maintaining organizational efficiency.

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Catering & Driver to join our team in Charlottetown, Canada. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality catered meals while ensuring safe and timely transportation.
