We are seeking top-tier talent for our Corporate Services team to support construction operations through various initiatives. We offer a safe, diverse, and inclusive environment with ongoing learning and career development opportunities.

Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, the Category Specialist develops supply chain strategies for operational spend categories (materials and services) to leverage spend and reduce risks. The role involves delivering value through embedding category strategies into projects and managing Master Services Agreements (MSAs) with suppliers, ensuring savings and performance improvements. Note: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

As a Category Specialist at Graham, you will:

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions
• Draft, execute, and manage MSAs with suppliers
• Promote MSAs within the organization
• Analyze spend data using Excel and Power BI
• Achieve targeted savings and cost avoidance
• Manage supply chain performance and vendor relationships
• Ensure safety and quality behaviors align with corporate expectations
• Demonstrate professionalism consistent with Graham’s core values
• Problem-solve complex supply chain issues
• Conduct market intelligence for informed decision-making
• Support the Senior Category Manager in achieving objectives
• Adhere to Graham’s processes and standards
• Support subcontract and material order placement
• Perform other related supply chain tasks

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• SCMP designation or pursuing it is an asset
• 5-8 years of supply chain experience, including Strategic Sourcing or Category Management
• Experience in RFx processes and contract drafting
• Knowledge of procurement practices and contract negotiations
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage internal client concerns and relationships
• Effective team player, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI; advanced Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus
