We are seeking top-tier talent for our Corporate Services team to support construction operations through various business initiatives. As part of this team, you will enjoy a safe, diverse, and inclusive environment with ongoing learning and career development opportunities.

Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, the Category Specialist will develop supply chain strategies for operational spend categories (materials and services), leveraging Graham's spend to reduce risks. The role involves embedding category strategies into projects, managing Master Services Agreements (MSAs), and ensuring supply chain solutions align with operational needs. This position does not offer relocation assistance.

As a Category Specialist at Graham, you will:
  1. Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies that meet stakeholder requirements.
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver appropriate supply chain solutions.
  3. Conduct RFx events, draft, execute, and implement MSAs with suppliers.
  4. Promote MSAs across the organization.
  5. Analyze spend data using Excel and Power BI to identify savings opportunities.
  6. Achieve targeted cost savings, avoidance, and rebates.
  7. Manage the performance of supply chain categories and monitor supplier performance through regular meetings.
  8. Demonstrate HSE and Quality behaviors aligned with corporate expectations.
  9. Uphold Graham’s core values of commitment, integrity, and reliability.
  10. Resolve complex supply chain issues collaboratively.
  11. Conduct market intelligence to support informed decision-making.
  12. Support the Senior Category Manager in achieving objectives.
  13. Follow Graham’s processes, standards, and procedures.
  14. Assist with subcontract and material supply order placement.
  15. Perform other related supply chain tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
  2. SCMP designation or pursuit thereof is an asset.
  3. 5-8 years of progressive supply chain experience, including strategic sourcing or category management.
  4. Experience in conducting RFx events independently.
  5. Knowledge of tendering and procurement practices.
  6. Ability to draft contracts and amendments.
  7. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  8. Effective relationship management skills.
  9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, with advanced Excel skills; SAP knowledge is a plus.
