Job summary

An established community service organization is seeking compassionate Casual Support Workers to assist children and families in need. Sagkeeng Child & Family Services is looking for mature, reliable and skilled Casual Support Workers to provide support services for our Children and Families.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Safe and timely transport of children or families to and from family visits/appointments
  2. Supervision of family visits, ensuring all are safe
  3. Provide support to children in care and families
  4. Detailed note writing and documentation
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  1. Minimum completion of high school; or a combination of education and related experience may be considered
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Valid Class 5F Driver’s license
  2. Full access to a safe and insured vehicle; with a minimum of $2,000,000 liability
  3. Satisfactory Criminal Record, Child Abuse Registry and Drivers Abstract
  4. Active cellular phone
  5. Proof of double Covid-19 Vaccination
SPECIAL SKILLS
  1. Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  2. Ability to write short or detailed contact notes
  3. Valid First Aid and CPR Certification preferred
