Job summary

WEMBLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is seeking student-focused Substitute Educational Assistants. Substitutes work on an on-call, casual basis to support students when regular staff are unavailable, under the supervision of a certificated teacher.

A current Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Check), dated within the last six months, is required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience, ranging from $21.28/hour to $28.02/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a classroom setting would be an asset.
• Availability to meet outside of school hours.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks and assist with personal care.
