Job summary

Near North District School Board seeks a Casual Student Supervisor at White Woods Public School to supervise students during nutrition breaks from 10:50 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 2:10 PM each day. Minimum Grade 12 education with school setting experience preferred. Current First Aid certification is an asset; a Vulnerable Sector check is required.

Location: White Woods Public School

The successful candidate will be supervising students during the school's nutrition breaks from 10:50 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 2:10 PM daily.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12 education
• Experience in a school/classroom setting is preferred

Skills Required:

• Demonstrated ability to work with students in a positive and effective manner
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively as a member of a school-based team
• Excellent communication skills
• First Aid Certification is considered an asset.

Rate of Pay: $17.60/hour plus 4% vacation pay and any applicable statutory holiday pay

As a condition of employment, a current (completed within previous 6 months)

Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector is required.
