Job summary

Near North District School Board is seeking casual custodians to support Parry Sound Public School and Parry Sound Intermediate and High School. Duties include cleaning, basic maintenance, grounds work, and waste management to ensure safety and cleanliness of facilities.

Shifts vary from early morning to late evening and are on a call-out basis. Prior custodial or maintenance experience is beneficial, with a starting rate of $21.78 per hour and a requirement for a criminal reference check.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in building and grounds maintenance or custodial services would be asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to ensure clean, safe, and healthy environment.
• Basic building maintenance (e.g. changing light bulbs, filters).
• Grounds maintenance (grass cutting, snow shoveling).
• Waste removal and dust control.
