Hourly Rate: $24/hour (RECE) or $19.50/hour (ECA)

Availability: Full Day (7 hours per day) and Split Shifts

A little about our Centres for Early Development

Our five Centres for Early Development (CEDs) in Toronto offer enriching full-day programs for children aged 3 months to 6 years, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, supporting busy families in a safe, nurturing environment.

A little about our EarlyOn Child and Family Centre

The EarlyON CFC provides play and inquiry-based programs for children from birth to 6 years and supports parents and caregivers with resources, advice, and community connections.

Job Summary

As a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or Early Childhood Assistant (ECA), you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, collaborating with a team to deliver high-quality care and education.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing physical and emotional care for children
• Developing positive relationships
• Assisting with program planning and implementation
• Supporting housekeeping duties as needed

Qualifications for success:

• Early Childhood Education Diploma and registration with the College of Early Childhood Education (for RECE)
• Ability to work with children aged 3 months to 6 years
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
• Immunizations and health assessments per Child Care and Early Years Act
• Standard First Aid & CPR C certification
