Job summary

AgeCare in Mississauga, Ontario, is hiring a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to assist residents according to their care plans. You will help maintain a safe, respectful environment and support the care team in daily tasks.

The role requires a PSW certificate/diploma and knowledge of sanitation and geriatric care. Reporting, documentation, and participating in training sessions are key parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker certificate/diploma program.
• Meets Ontario vocational standards and applicable association guidelines.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation and geriatric resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Assists in monitoring care to ensure alignment with the care plan by observing residents and reporting findings.
• Supports documentation of resident care information as directed.
• Attends in-service education, staff meetings, and workshops as required.
