AgeCare in Ontario is hiring a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to deliver care per individualized care plans and support geriatric residents in a home-like setting. You will monitor residents, document care activities, attend training, and assist with onboarding new staff while following IPAC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meets the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meets the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meets the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care.

Responsibilities

• Monitors care per plan and reports findings to supervisor.
• Documents information pertaining to resident care as directed.
• Attends in-service education sessions, staff meetings and workshops.
• Assists in onboarding new staff as directed.
