Job summary

Keolis Canada in Fredericton is seeking a Para-Transit Driver for casual shifts to provide safe, customer-focused transportation and help deliver essential services to the community.

This position is on call only to start with and may lead to full-time in the future. A valid Class 4 (or higher) license and experience with disabilities are preferred; strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid unrestricted Class 4 (or higher) driver’s license with safe driving history.
• Experience with individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities.
• A good knowledge of the Fredericton area is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers per City and Company policies, observe traffic laws and schedules.
• Conduct vehicle pre/post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Complete vehicle and incident reports; follow emergency procedures.
• Courteously assist customers and manage fares and drop-offs.
