Connective, a leading non-profit organization in Coquitlam, seeks an outreach support worker to assist clients referred by Community Living British Columbia. The role involves creating intervention plans, addressing daily living needs, and providing support in various settings. ROLE PURPOSE
This position will provide outreach support to client(s) referred to Connective by Community Living British Columbia. You will work to enable clients’ adjustment to and success with life in the community.
STATUS AND CLASSIFICATION
Unionized. This position is open to applicants of all genders.
HOURS
Flexible hours based on client needs, including evenings and weekends. Program operational hours are generally from 09:00 – 17:00.
Casual employees must be available for at least 14 shifts per month. If you are working full-time, or if you are a full-time student, we ask you for 10 shifts of availability per month (this is subject to employer or enrollment proof).

COMPENSATION
As Connective is a unionized environment, the starting wage is $27.54 per hour plus 10.6% in lieu of vacation pay and statutory. The wage will increase with every 2,000 hours worked up to a maximum of $30.69 per hour.
Important: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada, observe their weekly hours limit if under a temporary or study visa, and provide proof of eligibility if selected for the role.
