Job summary

Entreinstitute seeks a Casual On-Call Community Support Worker to help improve the quality of life for residents in group settings. You will support daily living activities, participate in program implementation, and work with families, staff, and other organizations to meet needs.

The role requires flexibility, a certificate or relevant experience, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to perform lifts. A driver’s license and safe driving record are preferred for travel.

Qualifications

• Certificate or equivalent education and experience in community support
• Three months’ experience delivering similar services in disability/community settings
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Food Safety Certification

Responsibilities

• Support quality of life for persons served across physical, social, vocational, educational, and medical needs
• Assist residents to live in group settings and develop life skills
• Implement participants' programs in line with agency policies and philosophy
• Collaborate with families, staff, volunteers, and organizations
