Job description

Thank you for considering the Ottawa Catholic School Board as a potential employer.

Under the direction of the Principal, the Office Administrator:

  • Provides secretarial and administrative services for the Principal and staff;
  • Acts as a receptionist;
  • Maintains office records;
  • Provides basic medical attention;
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Secondary School Diploma;
  • One year of Community College in a related field;
  • Three years of related experience;
  • Proficiency in word processing;
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Tact, diplomacy, and discretion;
  • Ability to work independently.

Casual Office Administrators / Administrative Assistants must be available to work on call during regular school hours at various locations.

These are casual positions with an hourly wage starting at $27.75 plus 4% in lieu of vacation pay.
